Welcome – Ingrid’s Blog

Hello, this is the first Blog from Scouse Press. Although our website has been up and running for a few years now, we never seem to have had the time to organise it properly, or even update it! However, with the current situation of closed shops and restricted movement we have the luxury of a little more time on our hands and the updating of the website is coming along nicely (incidentally thanks very much to Mr John Dang, who built the site in the first place and whose technical help is very much appreciated). There is still much to be done but things are happening and I will try to post regularly with progress reports. Apart from displaying our books and other Liverpool-themed products, we thought the site could also be interesting for those who might want to know a little about how Scouse Press was first founded more than 50 years ago, and the story of the man whose idea it was, Fritz Spiegl. Have a nice weekend and I look forward to blogging again very soon…

Good morning everyone. I was very pleased to view another blog in which the famous purple Scouse Press wheelie-bin desk tidy was featured! Thanks to Hannah Cole and Tom the Teddy. Here is the link: https://vulnerableteddy.com/my-blog/
